Product Description
An Adhesive Bonded Undercut Anchor Bolt is a hybrid anchoring system combining mechanical undercut expansion and chemical bonding for high-strength, permanent installations in concrete, masonry, or similar rigid substrates. It consists of:
- A threaded steel rod;
- A pre-formed undercut sleeve with lock keys to engage with a pre-drilled undercut cavity;
- A two-component epoxy resin adhesive injected into the hole to bond the anchor to the substrate.
Key Features:
- Immediate Load Transfer: Partial load-bearing capacity during adhesive curing;
- High Corrosion Resistance: Hot-dip galvanized or stainless steel options;
- Seismic/Vibration Resistance: Suitable for dynamic load environments;
- Minimal Substrate Stress: Eliminates radial expansion forces during installation.
Applications
- Critical Infrastructure: Securing bridge guardrails, tunnel linings, and seismic bracing systems in cracked concrete;
- Industrial Anchoring: Mounting heavy machinery, conveyor belts, and pipeline supports under vibration;
- Architectural Engineering: Installing curtain walls, glass façades, and solar panel mounts with tight edge spacing;
- Retrofitting Projects: Upgrading aging structures without damaging existing concrete.
