Description
Product Description
A Drop-in Chemical Anchor is a fast-curing, resin-based anchoring system designed for high-strength, vibration-resistant installations in concrete, masonry, or stone. It comprises:
- A pre-filled glass ampoule containing a two-component chemical resin (typically vinyl ester or epoxy) and a hardener;
- A threaded steel rod;
- Optional cleaning brush and blow pump for hole preparation.
Key Features:
- Instant Load Capacity: Partial load-bearing capability during curing, full strength after hardening.
- Crack Tolerance: Suitable for static and dynamic loads in cracked concrete (ETAG 001 Annex C certified).
- Corrosion Resistance: Stainless steel or galvanized options for harsh environments.
- High Temperature Resistance: Vinyl ester resins withstand temperatures up to 120°C post-cure.
Applications
- Structural Reinforcement: Anchoring rebar, steel columns, and beam connections in seismic zones.
- Heavy Machinery: Securing CNC machines, turbines, and rail tracks under vibration.
- Infrastructure: Installing guardrails, bridge components, and tunnel lighting systems.
- Retrofitting: Repairing cracked concrete structures or adding modular facades with minimal substrate stress.
