Product Description
A Hot-Dip Galvanized Chemical Anchor Bolt is a corrosion-resistant fastener designed for permanent anchoring in concrete, masonry, or stone substrates. It consists of a threaded steel bolt (typically carbon steel grade 4.8/5.8/8.8), a chemical adhesive cartridge (epoxy or vinyl ester resin), and a washer/nut assembly. The bolt is coated with a 50–80μm zinc layer through hot-dip galvanization, providing enhanced protection against rust and environmental degradation. During installation, the chemical adhesive fills the drilled hole, bonding the bolt to the substrate and hardening to achieve load-bearing capacity within curing time (e.g., 30 minutes to 24 hours depending on temperature).
Key features include:
- High Tensile Strength: Rated for static and dynamic loads up to 8.8-grade steel (800 MP a tensile strength).
- Crack Resistance: Suitable for use in both cracked and non-cracked concrete.
- Environmental Durability: Zinc coating withstands salt spray for 120+ hours (ISO 9227 standard).
Applications
- Structural Reinforcement: Securing steel beams, columns, and seismic bracing in buildings.
- Infrastructure Anchoring: Fixing guardrails, bridge components, and utility supports in corrosive environments.
- Industrial Equipment: Mounting heavy machinery, pipelines, and HVAC systems.
- Retrofitting: Repairing or upgrading existing concrete structures (e.g., adding façade brackets or solar panel mounts).
